Apple upgrade announced: Hey guys, this iPhone upgrade honestly caught me off guard too, because Apple is teaming up with Klarna in the United States to launch its own leasing program, where you can rent a product through an agreement for a limited time period, and in return you’ll pay a certain amount every month for that product. And once your time period is up, you’ll have to return that product. So this is such an awesome feature, especially for people who are interested in iPhones but just can’t fit the budget to actually buy one this is going to be a pretty great offer for them.
Just imagine if you want to get an iPhone and it costs around $1000, but you don’t have that kind of budget to buy the phone outright, well, through this program, you’ll be able to get that same phone for just a few dollars. Let’s say you want to lease it for a year, a year and a half, or two years you’ll get it for just a few dollars per month. And as soon as your time period is up, you’ll simply return the phone. This way, your wish gets fulfilled, the company makes money, plus they still have their product back in hand. So I found this offer to be pretty great for users, for the company, and especially for people who couldn’t otherwise afford the experience of using a phone like the iPhone. This feature is going to be a game-changer for them.
So honestly, I thought this was really cool, and below we’re going to break down everything what the estimated monthly lease prices are going to look like for the iPhone, MacBook, iPad, and Apple Watch if you lease any of these products. We’re covering all of it in this one.
Lease Duration & Price
Guys, speaking of the lease duration and pricing for MacBook, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch this is going to be pretty fun and pretty awesome. And for all of these, you’re going to get two lease options. Like with the iPhone, you get 12-month and 24-month lease options. Same with the Apple Watch you get that same 12-month and 24-month lease option. And with the MacBook and iPad, you also get two options a 24-month and a 36-month lease option. But the monthly payment price for each of these is different, as you can see in the list below.
| Products | Lease Duration | Price / Month |
| Mackbook | 24 Or 36 Month | $24.99/Month |
| Ipad | 24 Or 36 Month | $11.99/Month |
| iPhone | 12 Or 24 Month | $17.99/Month |
| Apple Watch | 12 Or 24 Month | 11.99/Month |
This upgrade is going to be a huge win for people who keep trying out Apple’s latest phones but have had to pay the full price to get one. And it’s also going to be great for people who want the experience of using these phones but just don’t have the budget for it. For users like these, this upgrade is going to be super beneficial.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 vs Gen 6 And Pro: Full Comparison
Guys, if you compare the older Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 / Pro, the new processor leaves the old one behind in pretty much every way.
The biggest change is in the architecture while the old Gen 5 was built on a 3nm process, the new Gen 6 is coming on a 2nm TSMC process, which is going to give it a massive boost in performance and power efficiency. On top of that, the clock speed goes up to 5.0 GHz on the Pro variant, which is way better than the older chip.
Cooling, storage capabilities, and graphics performance (Adreno 840/850 GPU) this processor is a huge leap across the board. Whichever flagship smartphone gets this chip is going to dominate in gaming and heavy multitasking it’s going to be the top pick, especially for gamers!
If the rumors and leaks are anything to go by, this processor could show up in the upcoming flagship lineups of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.

How this is even better than EMI
Buying a gadget on EMI has both pros and cons. The upside: once you finish paying it off, the phone is fully yours β you get complete ownership. The downside: you’re stuck paying a heavy EMI plus interest every month, and if you miss even one or two payments, the company can lock or repossess the phone.Leasing works differently. If you lease a phone for 12 or 24 months, it costs way less than EMI, and your monthly payments are much lower so there’s a lot less pressure on your budget. If you just want to experience an Apple phone, iPad, or MacBook without committing long-term, leasing lets you do that affordably.
The catch: you only “own” the device for as long as the lease lasts. Once the agreement ends, so does your ownership and you’ll need to return the device to the company.
Final Verdict
Honestly, if you think about it, this upgrade from Apple is going to be pretty beneficial for both users and the company. And specifically, it’s launching in the US first, but if it’s successful, we could see it roll out to other countries pretty soon too. There’s one thing I wasn’t too thrilled about though the duration. It’s only offering leases for a pretty short time. You can lease a phone, iPad, or MacBook for a maximum of three years, which honestly feels too short. They should’ve kept it at five years at least. But no worries I think right now they’re just testing the waters to see if this works out or not. If everything goes well and they get a good response from the market, they might just extend that time limit down the line.
