Guys, the design of this phone is quite different from the Z Fold 7. But along with that, it comes packed with much more advanced features. Whether it’s the design, the looks, the performance, or the gaming experience it’s better than the older model across the board.The design of this phone is pretty unique and different. It’s been built in such a way that you can comfortably use it with just one hand, because Samsung has made this phone noticeably smaller. You’ll find it’s basically passport-sized. I say “passport-sized” because that’s genuinely how compact this phone is. The outer frame is made of aluminum, which gives it a really premium look. And the thickness is also better than the older model when unfolded, it comes in at around 4.5mm, and when folded, it’s about 9.7mm, which is pretty impressive.And the standout feature this time around is that Samsung has used titanium in the build as well, which makes the overall build quality a lot stronger.

When it’s folded, this phone looks pretty compact but the moment you unfold it, the size basically doubles. It genuinely looks attractive and sleek. It comes in 4 gorgeous color options Pistachio, Lavender, Graphite, and Cream so users can pick whichever color suits their taste.

Rear & Selfie Camera

By the way, in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, you get a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, which lets you record video in 8K (@30fps) and 4K (@30/60/120fps). But one thing that’s missing here is a dedicated telephoto camera even so, you still get 2x optical-quality zoom and 10x digital zoom.

It costs close to 2 lakh, but even at that price, you don’t get a 2K display just something below 2K, a bit better than Full HD.The cover display is 5.5 inches, with a resolution of 1972 x 1248 still under 2K. The main inner display is 7.6 inches, and same story there below 2K, better than FHD.Honestly, that’s a bit disappointing for a phone this expensive. But the good stuff is still there both displays run at 120Hz and are AMOLED. Samsung could’ve easily gone 2K, they just didn’t.One highlight though: the inner display has a PPI of 403, which is pretty sharp visuals look clear and crisp. So overall, the display is a bit smaller than expected, but it’s not bad. In fact, it works in your favor the phone is lightweight at 201 grams, and thanks to the compact display, you can easily use it one-handed and carry it around like a regular phone.

Performance & Gaming Experience

Guys, in this phone, you’re going to see flagship-level and next-level performance. Why am I saying this? Because it comes with Snapdragon’s most powerful processor yet the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. And right now, there’s no Snapdragon processor better than this one. It comes with a 4.7 GHz clock speed, which is considered really fast and quick. Processors like this can easily handle heavy tasks, including gaming, without breaking a sweat.And the best part about this processor is its architecture, which is based on a 3nm process. The benefit of this is that because it’s built on a smaller nm process, this processor consumes very little energy but still delivers really high performance. Also, being built on 3nm technology means it generates very little heat, which gives you a smooth gaming experience.

OMG guys, this phone is going to be next-level for gamers. Why am I saying this? Because along with the phone, its processor is also flagship-level, which is going to give you a next-level, flagship gaming experience. Because of this, you’ll be winning most of your matches. Why am I saying this? Because when we tried games like BGMI, Call of Duty, and Free Fire on it, we had a really great experience. In all of these, you get a stable 120 FPS performance. But sometimes, when you land in an event and there are a lot of enemies around, the FPS fluctuates a little bit and then stabilizes back at 120 FPS. This is going to be really good for gamers, and you’re going to get a great gaming experience with this phone. As you can see on the screen, when we tested BGMI on it, we got a stable 120 FPS performance, which you can clearly see on the screen.

When we ran the AnTuTu test on this phone, we got a really good score — it came out to 3.3 million plus, which is considered quite good, especially for heavy tasks and gaming. When we tested the CPU, both the single-core and multi-core scores also came out great the single-core score was 3178 and the multi-core score was 10989, which you can see on the screen.

Big Battery & Fast Charging🔋⚡

When it comes to battery and charging, Samsung has made a bit of improvement this time. Earlier, you used to get a battery under 4400 mAh. But now, the Z Fold 8 comes with a 4800 mAh battery. Also, you don’t get the charger included in the box it’s sold separately. But it does support 45W charging, along with 20W wireless charging, which is a lot better than the previous model. And the best part is that Samsung has used a carbon-silicon battery this time, which, despite being bigger, is quite thin and lightweight. Users had been demanding this from Samsung for a long time asking them to use a carbon-silicon battery in their phones. And finally, this time, Samsung has used a carbon-silicon battery in their Z Fold 8 series.

This is Samsung’s first phone to come with the One UI 9 interface, which is based on Android 17. Overall, if you look at it, this phone is decent. But the thing that bothered me the most about this phone is that, guys, this phone costs 2 lakhs, but it doesn’t even come with a 2K display. That’s a bit disappointing. But apart from that, if we talk about its features, everything is pretty solid. You’re going to get a really good experience with this phone, because the battery backup is quite great too way better than the previous model and the processor is also really good. So if you want to get this phone for gaming, or for heavy tasks like video editing or live streaming, it’s really good for that too. You can go for it.
