Officialy Confirmed Specifications
Ahead of its launch, some official specifications of the Vivo V80 5G have been revealed, such as its 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display which is considered superior to a standard FHD/FHD+ display. It features a peak brightness of 5000 nits, making the display clear and sharp even under bright sunlight, along with a 144Hz refresh rate that keeps performance buttery smooth. The Vivo V80 comes with a triple camera setup. On the rear, you get a 50-megapixel night telephoto camera that allows us to capture very clear photos and videos at night. It features a large lens, along with a 50-megapixel main OIS camera. Typically, when we record videos handheld, our hands aren’t completely stable and shake, causing the video to shake as well. But that won’t happen here thanks to the OIS camera, video recordings will remain quite stable. You also get a wide-angle camera on the back, though its exact megapixel count hasn’t been specified yet; according to rumors, it is expected to be an 8-megapixel sensor. Up front, you get a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and all of these allow you to record video in yo which is a great benefit along with 10X zoom support. Moreover, the cameras are AI creative cameras, meaning you get multiple AI features for editing and changing backgrounds when taking photos. According Rumours Specifications
According to rumors, the Vivo V80 may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which comes with a 2.8 GHz clock speed and is considered a mid-range processor. Speaking of its AnTuTu benchmark, it scores around 1.4 million (14 lakh). The same processor is also used in the Vivo V70. There is a high chance of this processor being retained because most features of the Vivo V70 are carried over to the V80 without major changes, aside from a few minor upgrades. For instance, regarding the battery, the Vivo V70 features a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, whereas the Vivo V80 packs a larger 7,200mAh battery with the same 90W charging so while the charging speed remains identical, the V80 offers higher battery capacity. As for the display, the refresh rate in the Vivo V80 is significantly better than in the V70, though the resolution remains the same. However, the display technology differs: the Vivo V70 features an AMOLED display, which is considered very good, whereas the Vivo V80 uses an OLED display. Both phones share the same display resolution of 2750 x 1260 pixels. But while the Vivo V70 offers a 120Hz refresh rate, the Vivo V80 comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, making the V80’s display feel buttery smooth, fast, and highly responsive.

Final Conclusion
Anyway friends, the expected price for the Vivo V80 in the Indian market is estimated to be around 60,000 rupees. But it could go even higher than that there’s no guarantee, and the price might increase or decrease further, as it is only an expectation. This is because there is no confirmed news yet regarding either its processor or its pricing; all of these details will only be confirmed after the launch. However, based on the specifications revealed so far, we see a lot of similarities between the Vivo V70 and Vivo V80, without any major improvements. Keeping that in mind, this phone would be a better option for people interested in videography, photography, and content creation. But if you’re looking for a phone specifically for gaming, then I would suggest looking at another option, such as the Redmi Turbo 5G.
