Realme has launched a powerful phone, the Realme Narzo 100X 5G. It’s a budget segment phone that launched on 15th July at 12:00 PM, and its sale will begin around 22nd July. You’ll be able to buy it on Amazon starting 22nd July. Being a budget phone, some features are limited, while some advanced ones are also on offer. The features I liked the most are its AI feature and, second, the massive 8000 mAh battery it comes with. I found this quite impressive, because having such a huge battery comes with many benefits — you don’t have to charge the phone again and again.
And if you’re a gamer looking for a budget phone for gaming, this phone has been launched specifically in the budget segment keeping gaming in mind, because offering such a huge battery directly means it has been designed keeping gamers in mind.Talking about gaming, friends, you can play games on this at 60 FPS, where you get stable 60 FPS consistency. The screen’s refresh rate is also quite good at 144Hz, which means the phone will run super smoothly, like butter, and during gaming it will deliver fast and excellent performance.

Looks & Design
Friends, if we talk about this phone’s look and design, it looks pretty good. Its outer frame is made of plastic, not a metal body, yet it still looks quite attractive. You get two color options Flash Orange and Midnight Black which look really nice. Talking about the camera, this phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back, where the last camera also gives you a lighting effect. On the front, you get a punch-hole camera right on the display.
Display
about the display, according to rumours, you get a 6.8 inch HD LCD display, and the phone will come with a 144Hz refresh rate. With a 144Hz refresh rate, the screen will run like butter, and it has an IP65 rating, meaning it comes with dust and water protection. Talking about brightness, since it’s a mid-range phone, you get a medium peak brightness of 1200 nits, which in my opinion isn’t very high, but is still decent enough — you do get visibility under sunlight. Right now, a lot of brand companies are offering up to 2500-3000 nits of brightness in their phones. Realme should have given a bit more brightness here, and also should have given an FHD AMOLED display instead of an HD LCD display — the company has cut some costs here.
Battery & Charging
And the thing I liked the most is its battery. You get a massive 8000mAh battery in this, which is really great, especially for gamers and all users, because everyone wants a phone that doesn’t need to be charged again and again. On a single charge, you can use it for about 3 days without any tension, and if you’re gaming, you can game continuously for about 12-14 hours. By the way, the Realme 16T also had an 8000mAh battery before this, so now Realme has given the same 8000mAh battery in this phone too. Having such a huge battery does increase some risks, since we carry it in our pocket, so there’s a slight chance of the battery exploding. Keeping this in mind, Realme has added several safety features for the battery — for instance, it’s designed in such a way that even if the phone falls from a height of more than 1 meter, the battery won’t get crushed. Even in low or high temperature environments, there’s no chance of the battery heating up and exploding. These kinds of features are really great for users’ safety.
battery : Friends, talking about the rest of the specs, it has 45W super fast charging, which takes the phone to 50% in about 30 minutes and fully charges it in about 1 hour. So charging speed is really fast on this one.
Processor & Performance
Processor & Performance
And talking about performance, you get the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset in this, which is considered a pretty solid processor in this segment, with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz, which is quite good. Talking about the processor, its architecture is based on 6nm technology. And let me share one thing — this “nm” thing, friends, this architecture actually decides the phone’s performance to a great extent, because the lower the nm technology a chipset is built on, the faster and smoother performance it delivers, and the less it heats up during gaming. So the lower the nm, the better the processor is considered to be. So here you get a processor built on 6nm technology. And on this phone, you can enjoy stable 60 FPS gaming without any issues.
And if we talk about the AnTuTu benchmark score, its total listed score is 6,31,720, which is a pretty good score — it delivers quite good, stable performance.
Memory & Camera
And if we talk about its RAM or storage, you get up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It actually comes in three RAM & ROM variants — 4/128, 6/128, and 6/256 — which is good, storage has been kept in mind. Now, if we talk about the phone’s camera, you get a 50 MP dual camera setup, with which you can comfortably record video at 1080p. You also get an 8 MP selfie camera, which supports 1080p as well. On this phone, you can record video at 30 fps.
Expected Price
And now let’s talk about the most important thing about this phone — the Price — which segment comes at what price. So this phone is available in three segments: the first is 4/128, which comes at around ₹20,999, the second segment is 6/128, which you’ll get at around ₹22,999, and the third segment is ₹24,999 for the 6/256 variant. So these are some of the segments you get to see in this phone.
Intresting Ai Feature
Friends, this phone comes with several amazing AI features — for instance, its camera comes with a bunch of AI features, like you can delete any object from a photo, and to help you take good photos in the dark, the company has added an AI feature that lets you clean up photos taken in low light. The phone comes with many such AI features, but the one I liked the most is its AI Charging mode, which I found quite unique and impressive. For example, you get an AI Night Charging Mode, which has the benefit that even if you leave your phone charging overnight, your battery doesn’t get damaged, nor does its strength decrease — as soon as the battery is fully charged, charging auto-cuts off, so the battery doesn’t get damaged. Along with that, you also get an AI Cold Mode and AI Charging Boost mode, which let you charge your phone slow or fast as per your preference.
Final Conclusion
Talking about the specifications, they’re quite good, since this phone is in the budget segment. And these days, phone prices have gotten quite high, and because of the mad race in chipsets, phone prices have shot up a lot. So, in such a situation, companies end up cutting a few features while also raising the phone’s price, just to keep their margins intact without pushing the price up too much. But still, if you look at pricing, it was fairly decent 5 months ago compared to now. You’ll notice that a phone which used to cost around ₹10,000 earlier now costs roughly ₹15,000-16,000, and phones that used to come with certain features for around ₹15,000-16,000 are now available in the ₹22,000-25,000 range. I’d say you shouldn’t buy this phone instead, you could go for Realme’s own Narzo 100 Lite, which comes with mostly the same features, maybe a few minor changes, but with the same processor, and you get that phone for around ₹15,000. Rest, it’s up to you.
